What They Are
Recessed DOCKDOTS LED Lights (often referred to simply as Dock Dots) are low-voltage, recessed LED lights designed to be installed flush with a dock, landing, stair, or walkway surface.* They’re made for outdoor use and are waterproof and rugged enough to be walked on without damage — ideal for docks, boat platforms, and similar environments.

- Flush/Recessed Design: Installs flush with the surface — just the lens is visible — so they don’t protrude above decking or dock boards.
- Low-Voltage LED: Uses 12 V DC LED modules that are energy-efficient and long-lasting.
- Waterproof & Walk-On Tough: Fully sealed polycarbonate housing makes them waterproof and durable underfoot.
- Warm White Light: Typical color temperature is around 3200 K (a warm white glow), which is nice for ambient lighting and safety at night.
- Standard or NexGen LEDs: You can choose less powerful or NexGen versions with up to 3× the lumen output for brighter lighting.
- Installation Options: Available as simple surface level lights or as stair variants angled about 30° to light steps.

This low-voltage LED dock lighting kit is perfect for any dock, boat dock and landing, or swimming platform. The kit comes with tiny 12VDC LEDs with a recessed design that will install totally flush with the surface. Built for long-term durability, these surface mount / flush mount dock lights are waterproof and are “designed to be walked upon”. DOCKDOTS® lights are versatile and can be installed around dock edges, as deck lights leading to a dock, as pathway lights down a walkway, on dock stairs, and more.

The Dock Dot™ is completely enclosed in a high impact polycarbonate case that is completely sealed making it water tight. You can use this little light to outline your dock, accent a slip, and with our optional red and green port and starboard lights, you can totally make your dock safe and easy to navigate. Install the dock dot lights using our plug and play wiring and transformer. Available in both Standard (38 lumens) or NexGen (78 lumens) LED configurations our Dock Dots™ will make your waterside dock stand out. You can connect Dock Dots with any of our other world-class products, like our post lamps and post caps to truly create a complete low voltage, LED lighting design that will take your dock to another level
