Installation Style
Face mount means the balusters attach to the outside surface of deck framing or stair stringers using screws — no need to fit them between rails. As a result, you don't need to go through the work of disassembling existing railing sections to install them.
Benefits:
- Works well on stairs where angle makes between-rail install awkward
- Good for retrofit projects
- Provides clean, architectural look
Deckorators and Dekpro both offer a traditional flat face mount baluster solution. If you are looking for an aluminum baluster with a simple installation process, these might be the perfect option!
These face mount deck balusters are a flat stock aluminum rail that mounts to the face of the upper and lower deck railing. These easy-to-install balusters do not require additional balusters connectors for installation, which means fewer products you need to purchase for your project.
