Flat Spline by the Roll
What Flat Screen Spline Is
Flat screen spline is a flexible vinyl strip that’s pressed into the channel (groove) of a screen frame to hold screening material (mesh) firmly in place. Unlike round spline used in window screens, flat spline fits low, flat grooves common in screen room enclosures (patio, porch, lanai) and systems like Freestyle.
It’s used after you lay the screen mesh over the frame — you press the spline along the frame channel, trapping the mesh in place. This keeps the screening taut, secure, and visually clean.

This flat spline can be used for both aluminum and fiberglass screens and works well with frames that have a shallow groove. This flat style screen spline is the most common type used on patio and screen enclosures. It works with all aluminum extrusion with a flat spline groove. It's made of long lasting pvc vinyl.
