In 2005, a round Deckorators baluster was given to me by a good friend in the building distribution field. He asked if I could design and build a display for his company to use in local dealerships.
I agreed, but little did I know that this would lead to over 5 years of making thousands of displays using various outdoor deck materials and railing products from different manufacturers.
After years of doing this, I realized that I had come to know more about these products than almost all of the folks in the actual distribution companies.
I've been in the unique position to see and use everything—the great, the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between! That's when it struck me: why can't I use this in depth knowledge to offer customers only the very best products available? After all, I knew all of these products inside and out. I had close relationships with many of the major distributors and I really do enjoy collaborating with people.
I realized that I had found a new passion and, in 2008, I created Deck Expressions. I had found what I enjoyed: helping customers get what they want on a daily basis by offering them only the best outdoor deck materials and happily answering all of their product and installation questions. After all, I have become very familiar with these products through my years of experience.
Over time we have expanded our supply network even further and have developed many personal relationships with the biggest distributors in the decking and railing industry. I also developed those relationships that I cherish the most: my customers. People just like you!
Our product selection has steadily grown over the years based on my customer's needs. We are supported by our strong supply sources, which also allow us to have the best pricing and delivery available anywhere.
My goal is simple: delight my customers with quality outdoor deck materials, great pricing, and personalized service. Each and every order is handled directly by me with the same care, whether the order is for one box or one thousand.
