What TimberTech SIDELoc Hidden Deck Screws Are
SIDELoc screws are purpose-made hidden fasteners used with the SIDELoc installation system to secure AZEK square-shouldered, capped PVC decking boards without visible screws on the deck surface. They’re driven into the side of the board into the joist using a SIDELoc Guide tool, creating a clean, fastener-free look while holding the boards firmly in place.

Designed for AZEK/TimberTech Advanced PVC

Specifically engineered only for use with square-shouldered capped polymer boards, such as AZEK decking. They should not be used on grooved or composite boards, or with other fastener systems.

AZEK SIDELoc screws, used with the SIDELoc Guide Tool, are specifically designed to create a fastener-free, clean, and barefoot-friendly surface on AZEK square-shouldered capped polymer deck boards by driving the screws into the side of the board instead of the top. The SIDELoc system automatically creates the recommended 1/8" gap between boards and requires no pre-drilling. Screws are available in black-coated 304 stainless steel and marine-grade stainless steel, with the latter being recommended for installations near saltwater.
