SIDELoc Tool Wide Board Extension for Azek Timbertech Decking
What It Is
The SIDELoc Wide Board Extension is an accessory for the SIDELoc hidden fastener installation system that allows you to fasten wide square-shouldered deck boards (about 7-1/4″) using the same SIDELoc Guide tool you use for standard-width boards. It extends the SIDELoc Guide so it can grip and space wider decking properly.
How It Works
Used With the Standard SIDELoc Guide
- The extension attaches to the SIDELoc 5-1/2″ Guide (sold separately).
- Together, they let the tool securely grip 7-1/4″ wide PVC deck boards.
Hidden Fastening

With the extension in place, the SIDELoc system continues to drive screws at an angle through the side of the deck board and into the joist, creating a fastener-free top surface.

What It’s Designed For
Wide square-shouldered AZEK/TIMBERTECH Advanced PVC boards (7-1/4″) — common in multi-width decking lines.
Without the extension, the standard SIDELoc Guide is sized for up to 5-1/2″ boards.
Not compatible with grooved boards — SIDELoc is only for square-shouldered PVC decking.
