What It Is
The 300 Series by Rail FX is a stainless steel cable railing kit designed for straight, inside-of-post cable runs — especially in wood railing applications. It’s one of RailFX’s classic cable kits and is meant to give you a sleek, modern infill option that’s relatively easy to install and durable for outdoor decks or balconies.

Mounting & Compatibility
- Inside-of-post to inside-of-post mount: The cable runs straight through drilled holes in your posts, so the fittings are mostly concealed.
- Best with wood posts: Intended for minimum 4×4 wood end posts, though it can be adapted to other setups with the right fittings.

About this product...
For wood posts, use the 300 Series. The tensioning device is an Adjust-a-Body® with Hanger Bolt, which lags into the wood post on one end. A Push-Lock® Lag is lagged into the other end. When taking cable railing through a corner, do not bend the cable past 45⁰ at any one time. If turning 90⁰, a 2-step turn using a double corner post configuration is required as illustrated in Deck 2. Installing the 300 series cable rail system on your deck will create a non obstructive view. It offers a sleek modern look. All Rail FX cable rail systems are installer friendly. Can be used with any species of wood or metal railing. All Rail FX terminals are made from Type 316 stainless steel, the most corrosion, rust-resistant stainless steel. It is environmentally friendly, containing at least 65% recycled material.Designed to be tamper resistant, with a 10-year parts warranty.
