Continuous Top Rail Brackets for Deckorators ALX Cable or Glass System
What They Are
- These brackets replace the traditional “post cap + rail break” setup by allowing the top rail to run continuously across multiple posts.
- Designed specifically for ALX Contemporary Rail & Cable Rail systems
- Mount at the top of posts to support a continuous rail
- Create a sleek, modern “through-post” look instead of stopping at each post
Key Features
Continuous Top Rail Design
- Eliminates the segmented look of standard railing sections
- Provides a smooth, flowing line across the entire deck
- Popular for modern / high-end builds
Think: one long rail vs. multiple chopped sections
Alternative to Post Caps
- These brackets act as a functional replacement for post caps
- The top rail sits over or through the bracket instead of stopping at the post
Multiple Configurations
Available bracket types for different layouts:
- Line (center) brackets
- End brackets
- Corner brackets
- Stair brackets
This lets you run a continuous rail across:
- Straight runs
- Corners
- Stair transitions
Easy Installation Concept
- Posts are typically cut shorter than standard installs
- Bracket mounts on top of the post
- Rail runs continuously across all brackets
Clean, Modern Aesthetic
