Each pre-assembled rail panel features ProLock® locking strips, designed to hold balusters firmly in place. Avalon Rod Rail:
- Product / System: It's part of the RDI Avalon Aluminum Railing line.
Infill Style: Instead of square vertical balusters, the rod rail uses ½″ round horizontal aluminum rods, giving a more open, modern, horizontal-rod look.
Uprights / Vertical Supports: Uses ¾″ vertical uprights to support the horizontal rods.
Panel Types: Panels come pre-assembled for both level and stair applications.
Rod Attachments: Uses bushings on the rods — these help prevent rattling and also allow for the rods to be removed / reworked if needed in the field.
Top Rail Options: You pick a top rail style separately. Avalon offers three top-rail profiles: Oberon, Pellinore, Tristan.
