The kit typically includes a selection of tools necessary for drilling, cutting, and assembling cable railing components:
- Drill bits – various diameters (e.g., 5/32", 9/32", 1/4", 29/64") for drilling holes through posts and rails.
- Cut-off wheels with mandrel – for trimming cable or hardware.
- Hex and Allen wrenches (1/8", 3/16") – for tightening bolts/fittings.
- Push-lock release tool / QuickGrip tool – to help work with locking fittings and cables.
