Deckorators Estate Baluster Designer Stair Connector ~ Adaptor
What It Is
The Stair Adaptor for Square Balusters by Deckorators is a specialized connector that lets you install ¾″ square aluminum balusters on angled stair rail runs.
Standard baluster connectors and baluster inserts work great on level (horizontal) sections of railing, but stair railings are angled, which means you need a piece that compensates for that angle so the balusters sit plumb (vertical) even though the rails are sloped. That’s where the stair adaptor comes in.
Key Features
Designed for Stair Angles
- These adaptors are shaped to match common stair pitches — typically around 32°–37° — so the baluster stays vertical and square with the deck surface while the connector meets the angled rail correctly.
Works With Square Balusters
- They are made specifically for ¾″ square Deckorators aluminum balusters (such as the Estate). These are compatible with the designer square connectors depending on your railing style.
Easy to Install
- Mount the adaptor to the angled face of the top and bottom rail.
- Insert the square baluster into the adaptor so it sits plumb while the adaptor itself sits flush with the angled rail.
- Includes stainless‑steel screws for outdoor durability and long life.
Must use the estate square adaptor along with the estate straight baluster connector. It simply snaps onto the connector creating the stair angle.
