EZ ~ Clean ~ Cleaner and Protectant
What It Is
This is a specialized stainless steel cable railing cleaner & protectant designed for outdoor cable rail systems. It’s made to clean, remove light corrosion or surface staining, and then leave a protective coating that helps guard against future rust and grime buildup.
What’s Included
- Rust & stain remover: Typically an 8 oz. spray-on cleaner that dissolves minor corrosion and grime.
- Protectant: Often a 4 oz. wax-based protectant that forms a thin waterproof finish on the metal.
How It Works
- Spray on the cleaner where you see dirt, spotting, or beginning corrosion.
- Wipe down the cables and fittings with a soft cloth to remove debris and surface rust.
- Apply the protectant to the cleaned areas — this leaves a waxy, water-resistant coating that helps slow future corrosion and keeps stainless steel looking bright without sticky residue.

About this product...
For our steel cable rail, we recommend using our E-Z Clean Cleaner & Protectant. E-Z Clean cleans, lubricates and protects. Simply apply the rust and stain remover and wipe off any rusty areas. Then apply the protectant and wipe off any excess. The wax-based formula reaches deep into metal crevices to displace moisture and dissolve corrosion, and dries to a clean waxy waterproof finish without leaving a sticky residue.
