Hidden Connectors for Classic Round 3/4" Balusters by Deckorators
What Hidden Round Baluster Connectors Are
Hidden round baluster connectors are plastic connector pieces designed to secure ¾″ round aluminum balusters (typically Classic Round Balusters) to the top and bottom rails of a deck or porch railing without drilling holes through the rails. When installed and the balusters are placed over them, the connectors are concealed from view, giving a clean, flush appearance as if the balusters were set into holes in the rails.
They include stainless steel screws to mount the connector base to wood or composite rails, and then the baluster slides right over the connector — creating a snug, secure fit.
Key Features
Hidden Installation
-
Once installed, the connectors disappear behind the baluster, leaving no visible brackets or holes — just the clean vertical lines of the balusters.
No Rail Drilling Needed
-
You don’t have to drill holes through the deck’s top or bottom rail boards. Instead, you attach the connector to the surface with screws, and the baluster simply slips over it. This makes installation faster and easier and avoids weakening the rail board.
Protects Against Corrosion
-
The plastic connector isolates the aluminum baluster from direct contact with pressure-treated lumber, which can otherwise accelerate corrosion.
Works With Wood & Composite Rails
-
Designed to install on both wood and composite railing systems — so you’re not limited to one type of material.
Stainless Screws Included
-
Most packs include stainless steel screws sized for the connectors so you don’t have to source hardware separately.
