What They Are
Stair or Level Excalibur Rail Bracket Kits are pre-packaged hardware kits designed to connect Excalibur steel rail sections to Excalibur posts. These brackets hold the railing strongly in place and ensure your railing meets building code and manufacturer standards. They come in two styles:
- Level Bracket Kits — for horizontal railing runs
- Stair Bracket Kits — for angled railing runs along staircases
These kits include the bracket hardware, covers/trim pieces, and fasteners needed for installation. They are engineered to work specifically with RDI’s Excalibur posts and rail panels.

The level bracket kit includes four brackets (top and bottom are the same), four bracket covers, and installation hardware. Installation hardware is provided for use with RDI Metal Works steel posts, wood, composite, and most other mounting surfaces. The stair / level angle bracket kit includes four brackets (top and bottom are the same) and installation hardware.
