Overlook Composite Base Trim by RDI
The RDI Overlook™ Composite Base Trim (often called a post skirt or post base trim) is a finishing accessory designed for the Overlook composite railing system. It covers the base of a post sleeve where it meets the deck surface, giving the railing post a clean, finished appearance.
What the Overlook Composite Base Trim Is
- A decorative trim piece that fits around the bottom of a 4×4 composite post sleeve.
- It hides the gap, fasteners, or rough edges where the sleeve meets the deck surface.
- Part of the coordinated Overlook railing accessory system by RDI.
Post trims like this are commonly used to create a polished base for deck railing posts and improve the overall look of the installation.
