What a StaplePac Is
- Cap + staple fasteners — each unit consists of a metal staple with an attached plastic cap.
- The plastic cap helps spread holding force and protect the material, reducing tears and helping divert moisture away from the penetration point.
- StaplePacs come in collated rolls or strips that feed directly into a compatible cap stapler.
How They're Used
StaplePacs are designed specifically for use with Stinger cap stapler tools (such as pneumatic cap staplers or cap hammers like the STINGER CH38 or CS150 series). The tool drives the cap-staple combination through the material in one stroke, making fastening fast and efficient on jobs like installing house wrap or underlayment.

Looking for a quick and easy way to secure underlayment on your roof that doesn’t require you using a hammer? Look no further. Our StaplePac product by Stinger are specifically made for the Hand Staple Gun and Pneumatic Cap Stapler, letting this pair do their job dutifully.
The staples come with plastic caps that protect the staple and offer greater security to the bound material. Although the caps are optional, they are recommended as best practice by housewrap and roofing underlayment manufacturers. The caps offer greater holding power than the staple alone. Furthermore, the combination of the caps with the staples reduces the possibility of tearing roofing felt or house wrap. In sum; the caps set well, protect the underlayment from wind, and keep the puncture point sealed. We offer two options for purchase with this product. The first option is the ¾” staple-leg with a quantity of 2,016 staples and a gauge of 18. The second option is a ⅝” staple-leg with a quantity of 2,000 staples and a gauge of 20. Further, this product is ideal for high wind installations because Stinger’s partnering stapler guns allow the process to move swiftly, avoiding excess movement from wind. Suitable for people with varying construction experience!
