What It Is
The Transform Cable Rail Beam Set is a beam kit specifically designed for use with cable-style infill in the RDI Transform Composite Railing system. It provides the structural top and bottom beams (rails) needed to create a continuous cable railing panel between your posts.
What’s Included
A cable rail beam set includes:
- Top Beam (un-routed) – the upper horizontal member
- Bottom Rail (un-routed) – lower horizontal member
- Bottom Beam
- Top & bottom mounting brackets (usually 2 of each)
- Stainless steel installation hardware
- Aluminum mid-baluster support – needed to support cable runs
- Center support block
- Instructions
Note: Cable fittings and the cable itself are sold separately, as is the top rail if you want a specific profile.
Sizes & Configurations
- Comes in 6-foot and 8-foot lengths.
- Un-routed beams allow you to cut and route for cable infill as required.
Material & Finish
- Made with Composicore® composite — a core material with no wood fibers that resists moisture, warping, rot, and mold.
- Available in finishes like Satin White or Satin Black to match other Transform railing components.
Usage
- This beam set is used as the main structural rails for a cable-infill railing installation:
- Supports tensioned cable runs vertically between posts
- Works for both level and stair cable railing panels (routing will differ)
- Must be paired with cable fittings and cable (sold separately) for a complete cable system
