What It Is
Tyvek® StraightFlash™ VF (VersaFlange™) is a self-adhered flashing membrane used in building construction to seal and weather-proof window and door openings — especially non-flanged and brick mold types. It has a dual-sided, butyl adhesive and a tough Tyvek® outer layer.

What “VersaFlange™” Means
VersaFlange™ is DuPont’s name for this version of StraightFlash that’s engineered to handle non-flanged and brick mold openings where traditional flange flashing won’t work well (flange = the built-in flange on many modern windows). It helps “tie” the window or door assembly directly to the weather-resistive barrier and sheathing to resist water infiltration.

- Brick mold trim — often found in masonry or traditional frame work.
