What the RDI 2″ - 4″ Support Foot Is
The RDI 2″ - 4″ Support Foot is a level rail support accessory made to work with RDI’s vinyl railing systems like Endurance Original Rail and Titan Vinyl Rail. It’s used under long horizontal rail sections to prevent sagging and provide additional mid-span support when sections are longer than typical lengths.
What It Does
- Supports long rail runs: Vinyl railing sections over about 8 ft can begin to sag in the middle under normal loads. The support foot gives a stable support point beneath the rail to keep it straight and rigid.
- Adjustable height: The foot is adjustable between 2″ and 4″ in height, so it can fit under different rail configurations and deck surfaces.
- Works with common RDI rails: It’s compatible with both Endurance Original Vinyl Railing and Titan Vinyl Railing systems, helping ensure consistent performance across these products.
What’s Included
When you purchase the support foot, the kit includes:
- 1 adjustable rail support base — sits on the deck surface
- 1 rail support saddle — cradles the bottom rail
- Stainless-steel installation hardware — rust-resistant fasteners for outdoor conditions
The adjustable height lets you raise or lower the saddle so the rail sits level while being supported underneath.

• The limited lifetime warranty covers single-family residential properties only. This limited warranty extends to the original purchaser and one (1)
individual transferee as specified herein.
• A twenty (20) year limited warranty covers any other type of building or property including those owned by corporations, governmental agencies,
partnerships, trusts, religious organizations, schools, condominiums, homeowner associations, cooperative housing arrangements and apartment
buildings. The warranty period will be twenty (20) years following the original date of Product purchase.
