What It Is
The Transform Base Trim (often called a base post trim or trim ring) is a decorative piece that wraps around the bottom of a 5" × 5" post sleeve in the Transform railing system. It provides a clean transition between the post sleeve and the deck or floor surface, hiding any gaps and creating a finished, polished look.

- Fits: 5" × 5" Transform post sleeves (the trim slides over the sleeve at its base).
- Inner dimensions: 5.04" × 5.04" — sized to snugly fit around the post sleeve.
- Outer dimensions: 6.93" × 6.93" — so it creates a subtle wider decorative footprint at the base.
- Height: 1-3/4" — enough to cover the seam without being bulky.
Material & Finish
Like other Transform components, this base trim is made from Composicore® with a 100% acrylic exterior, giving it:
- Low maintenance — resists rot, warping, moisture and UV discoloration.
- Durability outdoors — unlike wood, it won’t splinter or degrade over time.
- Coordinated look — available to match typical Transform colors such as Satin White or Satin Black.
