Collated Cortex plugs are pre-strung, ready-to-install hidden decking plugs used with the TimberTech Cortex hidden fastener system for Advanced PVC and composite decking.
- Made from actual TimberTech decking material with a pre-aligned grain pattern — so they blend seamlessly with your deck boards on completion.
- Strung together on plastic strips (collated), which speeds installation and keeps plugs organized.
- Used in conjunction with Cortex screws and a setting tool to conceal screw heads after fastening.
When installed properly, the plugs sit flush and match the board’s color and grain, giving a high-end, fastener-free look across your deck

The Cortex Replacement Plugs by FastenMaster for TimberTech Azek Decking are made from actual TimberTech AZEK PVC deck boards to provide an exact match to the color and grain of your TimberTech AZEK deck, these plugs are punched from the actual deck board. These plugs are collated on a sheet of 40 making for easier installation.For installation we offer the pro plug countersinking tool.
