The Excalibur Corner Post Assembly with pre-welded brackets by RDI
What It Is
The Corner Post for Excalibur & Latitudes Railing by RDI is a pre-assembled structural steel post designed specifically to be used at a corner junction in your deck railing layout — where two sections of Excalibur traditional steel railing or Latitudes horizontal steel rod panels meet at a 90° angle (or other typical deck corner). It provides a strong vertical support point to anchor both adjacent panels.
RDI’s corner posts are part of the MetalWorks Excalibur® steel railing system, and they are built to integrate seamlessly with both decorative Excalibur panels and Latitudes horizontal rod styles.

Excalibur corner posts are available in 2 styles and 2 lengths. Pre-welded iron railing components provide strength, while its' triple-coat finishing process ensures durability. The pre-mounted brackets allow for quick installation Brackets are welded to each post at precise heights for easy Excalibur panel installation. Each post comes with a welded flange at the bottom of the post with pre-drilled holes for easy installation to deck or patio. For use with RDI Excalibur and Latitudes railing.
NOTE:
- 34" panels can be installed at a finished rail height of 36" with a 2" bottom space post or 38" with a 4" bottom space post.
- 40" panels can be installed at a finished rail height of 42" with a 2" bottom space.
