About this product...
Deck Frame Coating is a liquid, water-based sealant that creates a waterproof barrier to protect wood deck substructures (joists, beams, ledger boards, posts) from rot, decay, and moisture, acting as a faster, more efficient alternative to joist tape. Applied with a roller or brush, it dries quickly (workable in 20 mins, fully cured in 24 hrs) and self-seals around fasteners, extending the life of your deck frame.

APPLICATION:
- FastenMaster’s Deck Frame Coating can be applied using a standard bristle paint brush or a heavy duty, 3/8" nap roller. It is recommended to apply a generous and consistent single layer of coating.
- Apply in temperatures above 40 °F /4 °C. Freeze/thaw stable when cured.
- Product is in a liquid state, protect from freezing. If product was frozen, allow 12 hours of thaw time before use.
- Fast dry formula sets in as little as 20 minutes.
- Full cure in 24 hours @ 70°F/21°C and 50% humidity.
- Do not apply to dirty/contaminated or wet surfaces.
- Coating remains slightly tacky when cured.
CLEAN UP:
Clean skin or building materials using soap & warm water. Mineral oil or Baby Oil can be used. It is recommended to review the decking manufacturer’s warranty before using cleaners. CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children & pets. Wear gloves, eye protection and avoid contact with clothing. If in eyes, flush with water for several minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed call a poison center or doctor for advice. Low VOC waterproofing sealer contains <100g/L VOC
