Aluminum Secondary Hand Rail End Cap by RDI
What it Is
This is a powder-coated aluminum end cap designed to finish the open end of an RDI Aluminum Secondary Hand Rail lineal. It gives your handrail a clean, finished look and helps protect the exposed end of the railing.
Purpose & Function
- Protects the rail end: Covers the raw cut end of the aluminum rail, preventing moisture or debris from entering and helping extend the life of the system.
- Finished appearance: Creates a neat and professional look, especially where a handrail terminates without connecting to another fitting (like a corner or bracket).
- Completes ADA secondary handrail installations: It’s part of a suite of accessories (like corners, joiners, returns, and brackets) that let you custom-build an ADA-compliant handrail that looks polished.

- Made from powder-coated aluminum, the end cap matches the rest of the aluminum secondary handrail system. The finish helps resist corrosion and weathering when used outdoors.
Installation
- Simply push or slide the cap onto the open end of the aluminum handrail lineal once you have cut the rail to length and completed your layout.

• A twenty (20) year limited warranty covers any other type of building or property including those owned by corporations, governmental agencies,
partnerships, trusts, religious organizations, schools, condominiums, homeowner associations, cooperative housing arrangements and apartment
buildings. The warranty period will be twenty (20) years following the original date of Product purchase.
