Nantucket Federal Post Skirt with Bottom Post Dressing

Sizes listed are for actual post size, trim opening is 1/8" larger than the post to allow natural swelling of the posts. Adding Nantucket cedar post skirts or base posttrim at the bottom of the post adds the finishing touch to any wood railing project. Not only does the post trim look great but they also hide any imperfections in the work. The Post skirt mounts around the bottom of the post which hides any gaps between post and deck. Post skirt then should be sealed with a stain or paint to prolong the life expectancy of wood products that are exposed to harsh climates.
