The RDI Overlook™ Bracket Kit is a hardware kit used to mount Overlook composite railing panels to posts. It is an essential installation component of the Overlook composite railing system, allowing the rails to be securely attached to the post sleeves or structural posts.

Bracket kits are included or purchased with railing systems to ensure proper structural attachment and code-compliant installation.

 

What the Bracket Kit Does

The bracket kit connects the railing section to the post. It: 

  • Holds the top rail and bottom rail securely between posts
  • Maintains the correct spacing and alignment of the railing panel
  • Provides the structural connection needed for safety and code compliance 

Without these brackets, the rail panel cannot be securely installed between posts.

 

 

What’s Included in a Overlook Bracket Kit

 

Kits contain components similar to what you showed in the image:

  • 4 mounting brackets

    • 2 for the top rail

    • 2 for the bottom rail

  • Rail inserts or covers

  • Mounting screws and hardware

  • Post attachment plates or adapters 

These parts secure the railing rails to the posts and conceal hardware for a cleaner finished look.
