What Pro Plug Is
The Pro Plug system is a hidden fastener plug system designed for AZEK® and TimberTech® PVC decking. It lets you drive screws into the deck boards then conceal the screw heads with plugs made from the same deck material, giving your deck a smooth, nearly seamless surface.
How It Works
- Screw the deck board down using the recommended Pro Plug screws and a PVC/Composite setting tool (sold with some kits or separately).
- The tool drives the screw to the correct depth every time — dropping into a countersunk recess sized for the plug.
- Tap in a matching PVC plug (made from real AZEK deck board material) with a hammer until it sits flush, covering the screw.
- The finished deck looks clean and concealed — no visible screw heads.
Plugs are cut from actual PVC decking material (matching the board color), so they blend in with your surface better than generic plastic plugs.

When used in combination with epoxy-coated or stainless steel fasteners, it gives builders the ability to choose the right screw for a wide variety of applications. Screws and PVC tool sold separately. The system features plugs made from actual deck and trim material. When using the PVC Tool (sold separately), the fasteners create a perfect hole for the matching plug, without pre-drilling. Note: Screws and PVC Tool Sold Separately.
