What It Is
Tower Residential/Commercial Sealant is a one-part, all-purpose sealant made for general sealing and weatherproofing around homes and light construction areas. It’s often sold as a residential sealant but also suitable for some light “commercial” sealing tasks (e.g., around doors, windows, trim), thanks to its adhesion and flexibility.

- Flexible and durable: Can stretch (high elongation) and handle movement in joints without cracking.
- Weather resistant: Forms a watertight and airtight seal that helps block air and water infiltration.
- Compatible with many surfaces: Binds well to common building materials like wood, masonry, concrete, house wrap (such as DuPont™ Tyvek), metal, glass, and vinyl siding.
- Ready to use: No mixing, generally requires no primer for most surfaces, easy to apply with a caulking gun and tool smooth.
- Paintable & mildew resistant: Once cured it can be painted and resists mildew.

This product is a one-part architectural-grade, urethane-modified acrylic sealant that easily extrudes in a variety of weather and temperature conditions and cures quickly at room temperature. This cold-applied, non-sagging urethane-modified acrylic material cures to a flexible, UV stable elastomer. The cured sealant is durable and flexible enough to accommodate ±25 percent movement of original joint dimension when installed in a properly designed weather seal joint. This sealant has superior adhesion and durability with greater than 800% elongation. Easy to apply, this product forms a flexible, durable, and watertight seal offering exceptional protection from environmental conditions. The Sealant by Tower is formulated to bond well with DuPont Tyvek® weather barriers, and other DuPont construction products, as well as most common building materials. Further, this foam may help conserve energy by keeping your home insulated properly from air and water intrusions around windows, doors, and joints.
