What It Is

TOPLoc Face Fastening System TimberTech Advanced Decking is a face-fastening screw system designed specifically for TimberTech Advanced decking boards. It’s made for visible screw installations where hidden fasteners (like EDGELoc or CONCEALoc) aren’t an option — such as at starter boards, perimeter boards, stairs, fascia, or other exposed edges.

Key Features

• Top-down fastening — screws go through the top surface of the board into joists or framing when hidden clips can’t be used.
• Color-matched finish — helps the screws blend with TimberTech colors for a cleaner look.
• Stainless steel or epoxy-coated options — corrosion-resistant for outdoor moisture exposure.
• Designed for dense decking — TimberTech Advanced PVC and many composite boards are dense, and TOPLoc fasteners are engineered to hold reliably.

How It’s Used

• Board fastening: Use TOPLoc screws to secure starter boards, edge boards, picture frames, or stair treads where hidden systems can’t be used.
• Fascia boards: There are also dedicated fascia fasteners (TimberTech TOPLoc Fascia Fasteners and TimberTech TOPLoc Fascia Screws) tailored for fascia applications.
• Composite decks: Besides Advanced PVC, many TOPLoc kits (like TimberTech TOPLoc Composite Deck Screws or TOPLOC for TimberTech 100 SF – Gray) work with composite decking when visible fastening is allowed.
• Other wood types: Some versions like Teak TOPLoc Deck Fastener or TimberTech TOPLoc Screws for PRO & EDGE Decking are sized for different board profiles or installation areas.
