What It Is
- Tyvek HomeWrap Housewrap Installation Tape, DuPont Tyvek Sheathing Tape, DuPont Tyvek Seaming Tape and similar products are high-performance seam tapes designed to be used with DuPont® Tyvek® building wraps and weather barriers.
- It’s made from a durable oriented polypropylene film coated with a specially formulated permanent acrylic adhesive, giving strong adhesion and long-lasting waterproof sealing.
Primary Uses
- Sealing seams between Tyvek house wrap sheets to create a continuous barrier against air and water infiltration.
- Around windows, doors, and penetrations in exterior walls to help stop drafts, moisture, and leaks.
- Patching tears or gaps in weather-resistant barriers for improved overall enclosure performance.
