DekPro Round or Square Baluster Connectors
What These Are
Universal Baluster Connectors in Bulk by DekPro are a contractor-size pack of baluster connector fittings designed to secure 3/4″ diameter railing balusters (both round and square) into deck top and bottom rails. They’re the same hidden-style connectors used in standard packs, just supplied in a much larger quantity for big jobs or professionals who install many railing runs.
What’s Included
- 500 Baluster Connectors: Enough for roughly 250 balusters (each baluster needs two connectors — one for the top rail and one for the bottom rail).
- 500 Stainless Steel Screws (1-1/2″): Corrosion-resistant fasteners provided separately within the bulk pack for easier handling on the jobsite.
- Contractor Pail: Saves time and reduces packaging waste compared with buying many small packs.
Because this pack includes so many connectors and screws, it’s often enough to install balusters on two to three average-sized decks without repurchasing hardware.
How They’re Used

Plan & Mark Locations:
Measurements and spacing (typically ≤ 4″ clear openings to meet code) are laid out on your top and bottom rails. -
Install Connectors:
Use the supplied stainless-steel screws to mount a connector at each marked location to both rails. -
Slide Balusters Over Connectors:
Slide each hollow 3/4″ baluster down over the paired connectors. Once in place, the connectors are hidden inside the baluster tubes for a clean, seamless appearance.
