Two-Piece Design

  • The cap comes in two attachable pieces that wrap around an existing post (or atop a stone post cover) and snap together for a neat fit.
  • Two pieces make installation easier — especially when working around existing posts — and allow use on either a 4″ x 4″ or 6″ x 6″ post (nominal).

Sizes & Fit

  • Outer dimensions: approx 10″ × 10″ for a stately look.

  • Opening options:
    • 3-5/8″ opening — fits standard 4″ wood posts
    • 5-1/2″ opening — fits standard 6″ wood posts

Color & Style Options

  • Available in stone-inspired color that is a dark gray (this can be primed and painted) 
  • The two halves wrap around the top of the post or stone post cover and secure together — often with construction adhesive or silicone caulk inside the seam.
  • They can top a post where the wood extends above the stone sleeve or covers, giving a refined cap without masonry work.

Low-Maintenance

  • Sealed with a matte stone sealer, so no additional sealing is required, and periodic cleaning with mild soap and water keeps it looking sharp.

These post caps are made from the same material as our stone post covers - fiber-glass reinforced concrete; allowing for cohesion to your decking. The material also allows for a stone aesthetic without masonry, and for durability in extreme environmental conditions. Along with its upscale, durable, and earthy aesthetics, these Stone Post Cover Post Caps by Deckorators are cost and time effective, with an easeful installation process. These pieces can wrap around an existing post that continues extending beyond the cap, offering support and aesthetic appeal throughout your columns/long posts. These post caps can also be used to top off a stone post cover, with a wooden post extending beyond the wood. Use the 4" opening with a standard 4" wooden post, or the 6" opening with a standard 6" wooden post.

LIMITED WARRANTY - STRUCTURAL PERFORMANCE Warrantor will, at its option, either replace or refund the appropriate prorated portion of the purchase price as set forth in the “Prorated Refund Schedule” below for any Deckorators Decking, Porch Flooring or Composite Railing product used in a residential decking, porch flooring or railing application that splinters, corrodes or becomes structurally unfit due to rot, warp, cupping, checks or damage caused by termites or fungal decay pursuant to the Deckorators Warranty Coverage Matrix Chart herein. 25-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – STAIN RESISTANCE Warrantor will, at its option, either replace or refund the appropriate prorated portion of the purchase price as set forth in the “Prorated Refund Schedule” below for any Deckorators Decking, Porch Flooring or Composite Railing product used in a residential decking or railing application that exhibits permanent staining in the first 25 years from the date of purchase when exposed to food and beverage spills, including wine, tea, coffee, fruit punch, sodas, catsup, salad oils, barbeque sauces, mustard and other food- or beverage- related items that would typically be present on a residential deck or porch. This Warranty will only apply if an attempt is made by Consumer to remove any such spill from the decking material with water and mild household cleaners within forty-eight (48) hours of exposure to the surface, and such attempt is unsuccessful. Staining as a result of spilled abrasive compounds of acidic or basic pH, strong solvents, oil-based paints or stains, metallic rust and other abnormal items not commonly used on a residential deck are not covered under this Warranty. 25-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – FADE RESISTANCE
