What It Is
The Accents LED Down Lighting Kit is a low-voltage LED lighting accessory made to work with Fortress Accents post caps and outdoor post installations. It’s designed to be concealed during the day and provide a soft, ambient glow at night, helping define and accentuate deck posts, railings, patios, pathways, and outdoor living spaces.

Ambient Down Lighting
- Provides downward-facing illumination from the top of a post — creating pleasant ambient light rather than harsh glare.
- Best used to softly light deck surfaces, railings, posts, and adjacent walkways.
LED Technology
- Includes multiple low-wattage LED modules (each around 0.5 W per light; total ~2 W for the kit), which are energy-efficient and long-lasting.
- Light color is typically warm white (~2600 K), ideal for outdoor ambiance.
Durable Construction
- Designed to install within Fortress Accents post caps and outdoor lighting setups.
- Like other Fortress lighting accessories, it uses die-cast aluminum housings with a durable powder-coat finish for outdoor durability.
Low-Voltage System
- Requires a 12 V DC transformer (sold separately) to power the LEDs. This low-voltage setup is safer and suitable for outdoor lighting systems.
- The kit includes wiring components like lead wires and wire nuts to connect to the transformer.
