Fortress EZ Mount baluster connectors

What EZ Mount Baluster Connectors Are

Fortress EZ Mount Baluster Connectors are hidden connector fittings designed to secure 3/4″ round or square metal balusters — typically from Fortress’ Vintage or Mega Series — into your deck railing’s top and bottom rails without drilling large holes through the rail itself. They let you slide the balusters over the connectors for a clean, professional finish with minimal hardware visible.

These connectors are especially useful if you’re building or upgrading a deck railing and want a simpler install or want to protect baluster ends from corrosion where they meet wood or composite rails.

Key Features

Easy Installation

  • Mount each EZ Mount connector to the top and bottom rail with the included stainless‑steel screws.
  • Slide the baluster over the connector — no need to rout or drill big holes in the rail.

Hidden Once Installed

  • After the baluster is placed over the connector, the hardware is largely hidden from view, giving a neat appearance.

Corrosion Protection

  • Made from nylon/plastic, the EZ Mounts prevent direct metal‑to‑wood (especially pressure‑treated lumber) contact, reducing corrosion risk around the baluster ends.

Durable & Outdoor‑Ready

  • Designed for long‑term outdoor use with durable materials and included corrosion‑resistant screws.

Pack Size

  • Sold in 20‑connector packs, enough for 10 balusters (2 connectors per baluster: top + bottom).
