EdgeFast Fastener Clips
What They Are
- Hidden connection fasteners: Instead of traditional screws that go through the face of the deck board, EdgeFast clips are driven into the edges of square-edge wood or PVC decking and into the joist at an angle, locking the board in place from the sides.
- Collated for ease of use: The fasteners are collated (strips of fasteners held together), making them easy to load into compatible tools and install quickly.
- Pack size: Typically come in boxes of 350 fasteners, which is enough to cover about 100 square feet of deck when installed at 16″ spacing on center.
How They Work
- Angle drive: The fasteners are driven at a specific angled orientation that hides them from view and provides strong mechanical engagement between the deck board and joist.
- When used with the matching EDGEfast decking tool, you can often secure both board edges in one step — place the tool over the joint and fire two fasteners into adjacent boards.

- Stainless steel: Corrosion-resistant option ideal for long life, especially in wet or coastal environments.
- “EDGEcoat” steel: More economical coated steel option that’s approved for use with pressure-treated lumber.

About this product...
Fasteners are collated for easy handling and quick loading and sold in packages of 350, enough to cover 100 square feet of 6” decking when installed 16” on center. They are available in 304 stainless steel or the more economical Edgecoat steel, which is approved for ACQ pressure-treated lumber. The angle that the EDGE Fast fasteners are driven not only hides them from view but also provides a positive connection between the decking and the joist. Patent pending fasteners are collated for easy handling and quick loading.
One 350 pack collated fasteners will cover 100 square feet of 6" decking when installed 16" on center.
