If placing these bottomless beds on your grass or rocks (any organic matter), this allows your plants to adequately drain, inadvertently nourishing whatever it’s on top of as well! Furthermore, Barrette's decision to leave the bottom off of these beds allows the plants to be in contact with more organic matter, promoting growth. Made of durable BPA-free vinyl, there are no traces of Bisphenol-A (a chemical found in a lot of plastic), giving you peace of mind when consuming the food you’ve grown. Further, the durability of this vinyl contributes to strong top and bottom rails that helps prevent bowing when your beds are filled. Internal fasteners that attach to the top and bottom rails provide additional strength and reinforcement. Created by Barrette, these beds are made with similar materials and the same aesthetic vibe that is your decking! This allows you to continue your desired aesthetic all the way to your garden.
