SideLoc Installation Tool for Azek Square Shoulder Decking
What It Is
SideLoc hidden fastening system designed specifically for AZEK® square-shouldered, capped polymer decking (and TimberTech Advanced PVC). It helps you install the hidden SideLoc screws through the side of the deck boards into the joists, leaving a clean, fastener-free deck surface with a small consistent gap between boards.
How It Works
SideLoc screws are installed at an angle through the edge of the AZEK board into the joist. The tool guides the screw and holds the board in place for accurate placement.
Board spacing:
The SideLoc tool automatically spaces boards about 1/8″ (3 mm) apart — the recommended spacing for AZEK decking — without separate spacers.
Clamping action:
The tool clamps onto the board to hold it securely while you drive the screws, making one-man installs easier and helping maintain alignment.
Angled drives:
This angled side installation pulls the board snugly to the joist and hides the fastener holes from the top, producing a barefoot-friendly surface.
